The drum body 10 and the drum cover 5 are linked by a retaining ring 18. Inside the drum is installed a distribution shaft No. 8 and a set of discs No. 7, among which there is a top disc No. 6. The top disc and the retaining ring create a separate compartment in which 3 impellers are installed to pump clean oil. The separated water flows into the upper separation chamber of the drum through the adjusting ring (gravity disc) 2. The regulating ring is fitted to the drum cover by a small retaining ring 19 and also forms the upper part of the upper separation chamber. For this type of separator, above the drum cover there is a pump impeller 1, the heavy liquid (water) is pushed out of the drum through the adjusting ring 2.

The function of the separator drum cover

Separator drum cover (Bowl cover): The drum cover is fixed to the drum body thanks to the locking nut. The drum cover combines with the drum body to form a separation space of the separator.

The function of the lower sliding cylinder (bowl)

Lower sliding bowl: This is the lowest part of the separator drum that can slide up and down in the drum body to close or open the drum.

Function of the drum body

Drum body: This is the main part that combines the drum cover with the lower sliding cylinder to form a separation space.

The function of the main seal ring

Main seal ring: To seal the separation space between the top cover of the separator drum and the lower sliding cylinder of the separator drum. This seal ring is a trapezoidal plastic gasket.

The function of the lock ring of the drum

Lock ring of drum: To fix the drum cover to the drum body.

Functions of oil distribution equipment

Distributor: Distributes oil to the bottom of the drum.

The function of the top disc

Top disc: Separates the oil phase and water phase, oil flows on the bottom side and water flows on the top side of the disc. In three-phase purifiers, the top disc surface has a groove to guide water out, while in bottle-filter machines, the surface of the top disc is smooth.

The function of the separator disc stack

Disc set: A set of separator discs stacked on top of each other to form a separation space inside the separator drum. The stack of discs is stacked on top of each other and fixed by the oil distribution device. A stack of discs has about 100-110 discs.

The function of the gravity disc

Gravity disc: This is the part that creates a neutral surface inside the separator drum. The inner diameter of the gravity disc determines the position of the interface between the oil phase and the water phase.

Function of the residue discharge door on the drum body

Sludge discharge ports on the drum body (Sludge discharge ports): These are ports used to discharge sediment accumulated in the filter drum body during the separation process.
